Devolites, Victoria Xenos ("Vicky") Born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire and formerly of Arlington, Virginia passed away peacefully at her home in Lakeville, Minnesota on May 13, 2010. She was 92 and had lived a full and exciting life. Vicky created and managed a home with her husband and children at various military postings in the United States, Caribbean, Europe, and the Mediterranean from the early 1940s into the late 1980s. Vicky was the widow of Colonel Milton Charles Devolites, US Army Medical Service Corps (Retired), Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), and Professor Emeritus in Health Care Administration at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Vicky and her husband lived in twenty-two different cities before Colonel Devolites retired to Arlington, Virginia from the US Army after thirty-one years of service to teach at The George Washington University. Vicky always wanted to travel; for her being the wife of a young Army officer who loved her was perfect. Other than trips to the beach, Vicky had spent most of her life to age 26 just in New Hampshire. She wanted to see the world with Milt. Every military posting was a new adventure, and Vicky loved it. Vicky is survived by her four children: son Philip John (Charie) Devolites of Minnesota; daughter Mardi Devolites of Arizona, son Charles Milton (Barbara) Devolites, of West Virginia, son John Arthur (Tara) Devolites of Virginia. Vicky also is survived by her eleven grandchildren. The children of son Philip are Vikki Elizabeth Parker, Commander Karen Jeannette (Justin) Fine, Jennifer (Ian) Devolites Mitchell, Alexander Milton Devolites, and Cheryl Yvonne Devolites. The children of son Charles are Erin Devolites and Sean Devolites. The children of son John are Nichole Devolites, Ashley Devolites, Cassandra Devolites, and Alexandra Devolites. Additionally, Vicky is survived by her five young great-grandchildren. The daughter of Vikki Parker is Reese Elizabeth Parker. The sons of Karen & Justin Fine are Jack Howard Fine and Luke Philip Fine. The daughters of Jennifer & Ian Mitchell are Emma Jean Wagenknecht and Daisy Anne Mitchell. There will be visitations first in Burnsville, Minnesota and again later in Arlington, Virginia.
