Karen Rae (Kast) Klement

Klement, Karen Rae (Kast) age 72, passed away March 29, 2010, in Edina, MN. Karen was born June 30, 1937, in Aitkin, MN to Babe & Jimmie Kast. She attended Aitkin HS, traveled, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary & later moved to Mpls where for 41 years she enjoyed working as a secretary for NWNL. Karen's generosity was felt by all who knew her. She had the gift of kindness & hospitality. Spent much of her time talking & laughing with family & friends. Her children & grandchildren were the light of her life. Survived by her beloved brother James Kast and wife Juanita, her daughter Karilynn, son Jim, treasured granddaughters Ellie, Audrey & Kate, son-in-law Joe Beard, daughter-in-law Shaee Klement & all the many friends & family that loved her. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Memorial donations are being made to the Karen Klement Memorial fund at M&I Bank. No public service will take place.
