Howey, Elaine Elizabeth Born May 8, 1944 in St. Joseph, MN, the daughter of Lorenz and Marie Hartig. She graduated from Cathedral High School in St. Cloud, MN in 1962. She married David Earl Howey January 6, 1972. They lived in Bloomington, MN for the past thirty five years. She is survived by her loving husband, David; sons, Keith (Victoria) and Brian Howey; grandsons, Steven, Dylan, Nolan and Ethan. She is also survived by brothers, Donald (Mary Lou) Hartig, Ronald Hartig; sister, Annette Hartig and brother-in-law, Dalton Howard. She also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenz and Marie Hartig, and sister, Valeria Howard. Elaine was a member of the Living Grace Church in Bloomington. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, and friends at Curves. Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. A memorial service will be 11 am Tuesday at Living Grace Church, 9100 Russell Ave. S. (also Hillcrest UMC) in Bloomington with visitation one hour prior and also on Monday from 5-7 pm at: Washburn-McReavy Werness Brothers Chapel 2300 W Old Shakopee Rd 952-884-8145
