Robert '(Bob)' Tomalka

Tomalka, Robert (Bob) age 90, of Chanhassen, formerly of Mound, passed away quietly on Monday, January 25, 2016. He was born in LaCrosse, Wi on July 9, 1925 to Frank and Edna Tomalka and enjoyed a 67-year marriage to his surviving wife Marion (Nelson). He is predeceased by his sister, Jeanne Smaby and survived by his sisters, Shirley Ryan and Joanne Tomalka, both of Onalaska, WI. Bob and Marion have three children-Ann and Faison Sessoms of Golden Valley, MN, Tom and Monica Tomalka of Petoskey, MI and Rob and Sue Tomalka of High Point, NC. They have 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Bob and Marion lived and made friends in many different locations and states including Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Connecticut and finally Minnesota. Anyone who knew Bob knows that his greatest gift cannot be described in written words. His impact on those who knew him is indescribable. His faith, his integrity and his love will have a lasting impact on anyone he touched. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 5 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2451 Fairview Lane, Mound, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM.
