Fischer, J. Patrick Age 52, of Champlin, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 14 from complications of Multiple Systems Atrophy. He fought his disease with courage and grace. Pat was born on Sept. 1, 1957 in St. Cloud, MN to Jack and Tudy (Sandell) Fischer. Fischer was preceded in death by father, Jack. He is survived by his mother, Tudy; wife of 27 years, Janet Huston Fischer; children, David and Andrew; brothers, John (Donna), Jim (Jan); and sister, Sue (Trish Staehling). Pat graduated from Apollo High School in St. Cloud and received his B.S. degree from the University of Texas. He loved his family and friends more than anything. He had a passion for traveling and spent time in Costa Rica and Colorado in the months before his passing. Memorial Service 3 PM Friday, February 19, Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred.
