Alice (Wellman) Frederickson

Frederickson, Alice (Wellman) age 98, of Champlin, beloved and respected mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Born June 10, 1911 in Leal, North Dakota, passed away January 21, 2010. Always interested in politics and finance, Alice was employed at Superior National Bank East End, WI for 34 years. Preceded in death by parents Phillip and Hanna Wellman; husband Harold; infant son Harold Warner and son H. Phillip "Bud;" sisters Betty Lou Wellman, Esther Mills and Ruth Nelson. Survived by daughters Karen (Richard) Norberg, and Ruth (Tom) Ptak; grandchildren Kirsten Norberg, Bill Norberg (Donna Maier, fiancée), Paul Ptak and Alisson Ptak; great-grandson Caleb Norberg; sister Irene Slettum; brothers Roy Wellman and Warner Wellman; a niece and many nephews. A proud Swede, Alice was a woman of strong faith who had a gentle, kind soul and a loving spirit. Visitation at 10 AM, memorial service at 11 AM Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at Champlin United Methodist Church 921 Downs Rd., Champlin, MN. Cremation Society of MN 763-560-3100.
