Svoboda, Margie Nell age 74, of Richfield, passed away on Dec. 14, 2009 after a long illness. Margie was born May 19, 1935 in Grovetown, GA and moved to Minneapolis in 1957, where she lived until 1989 when she moved to Richfield. She ran a home day-care from 1971-1992, caring for scores of children over the years as if they were her own. She is survived by husband, William C. Svoboda; daughters, Frances Boyd and Sandy Strickland; stepdaughters, Darcy Tils and Vickey Townsend; grandchildren, Robert Smith, Amy Ehrlichman, Jesse Abdelfattah, Angel Rear and Delta Strickland, Katie and Allison Kent, Cassie, Crystal and Jessica Tils; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, James, Robert, Paul and Wayne Strickland; sisters, Martha Roushar, Helen Washington and May Burrows. Funeral service Saturday 11 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Ave. S., Mpls. Visitation Friday, 4-7 PM at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S., Richfield and one hour prior to service Sat. at the church. Interment Monday 10:30 AM at Ft.
