Larson, Ada Josephine age 96 of Bloomington, passed away Tuesday, February 9 at Martin Luther Manor in Bloomington, MN. Ada was born in Baker, OR, August 7, 1919 to Claude and Catherine Melvin and later moved to Port Carbon, PA, where she graduated high school on August 2, 1947. She met her sweetheart Orvin Larson at Indian Town Gap, PA, where she was a nurses aide. Ada and Orvin enjoyed 68 years of life together and she will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Ada is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Orvin; son, Bob Crossman; granddaughters, Naicia Ann Miner of Malta, IL and Michelle Gehrke of Antioch, WI; grandsons, Robert Jay Crossman of Greenville, OH and Chris Kreuter of Albuquerque, NM; great-granddaughters, Alyssa, Amberia, Anna and Abby; great-grandsons, Marshal, Sebasian and Griffin; great-great-granddaughter, Analaya; great-great-grandson, Wesley. A celebration of Ada's life will be held at Mt. Olivet Church, 5025 Knox Ave S, Mpls, MN at noon on Thursday, February 18 with visitation 1 hour prior to at church.
