Ogdahl, Harmon T. Age 91 of Mpls passed away November 8, 2009. Son of Inez and Henry. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946. Harmon worked in real estate and founded DAO Corporation with his wife Dawn building homes in the Twin Cities for low-income people. He served in the Minnesota State Senate from 1962 to 1981 and was President of Union State Bank until retiring in 1983. He was preceded in death by parents, wives Dawn and Beverly, son Gary and brother Lowell. He is survived by his children, Sally (Ron) Friestad, Susan (Chris) Ankeny, Laurie (Jay) Hall, Harmon Ogdahl Jr.; daughter-in- law, Carol Ogdahl; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Shirley and Delores. A memorial service will be held at Washburn- McReavy Funeral Home at 1 pm Friday, November 13. Visitation will begin 2 hours prior to the service. Private interment. The family expresses a sincere thank you to the staff of Age Well Home Health and Parkwood Shores for the heartfelt care and support of our father.
