Orlowski, Mary Ann went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2016. Born on May 11, 1928 to Stephen & Verna (Klappa) Orlowski, she was a very young child when her parents passed away. Her loving grandparents, Casimir & Mary Klappa, and her beloved Aunt Katherine Klappa, raised Mary Ann throughout her childhood and young adult life. Mary Ann graduated from Mercy High School, Milwaukee in 1945, Wisconsin State College, Milwaukee, in 1955 with a Bachelor of Arts, Secondary Education, and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1965 with a Master of Arts, Library Science. Mary Ann moved to Minneapolis, where she began her teaching career of English, Latin and Library, at Ramsey Junior High School, followed by Washburn High School. Upon her teaching retirement in 1985, Mary Ann became a librarian at various public libraries. Mary Ann was a World Traveler. Her travels included Europe, Asia, Australia, and throughout the United States. She often reminisced of her college days with Norma, her travels, with Glady and Wilma, and her visits to her dear sweet friend Lily, in Belgium. Mary Ann will always be remembered for her sunshine smile, and hugs of love. Mary Ann most recently resided at Deephaven Woods Senior Living, and previously at Sunrise Senior Living, and St Therese Senior Living. Mary Ann will be interred at St Adalbert's Mausoleum, 3801 South 6th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53221.
