Dunnill Robert 'Bob' Sykes

Sykes, Dunnill Robert 'Bob' of Edina passed away on Feb. 2, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Susan, and by son Richard. Bob was a lifetime resident of Minneapolis and Edina. As a young man he served in the Army Air Force and was a successful entrepreneur. He later joined TCF Bank and ended his career as Vice President and Manager of the 50th and France TCF branch in Edina. Bob was instrumental in developing the 50th and France business and shopping area and was a longtime member of the Rotary Club. Survived by loving wife, Judy Sykes of Edina. Also survived by son, Robert (Pat), two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral service 2/9/16 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1917 Logan Ave. S. Mpls. Visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Paul's church. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. Cremation Society of Minnesota 952-924-4100
