Peterson, Ruth Junette (Reinertson) Age 83, of Minneapolis, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Preceded in death by husband, Luther; parents, Junette and Elmer Reinertson; and siblings Anna, Mary and Lois. She graduated from Minnehaha Academy, St. Olaf College and University of Minnesota, attaining a Masters of Social Work. She retired as Executive Director of the Meals on Wheels program in North Minneapolis and pursued her love of spiritual poetry, with her collection of works, Life Like Winter Wheat, being published in 2004. She and Luther together devoted their lives to leading and inspiring others through servitude. She was loved by all for her seemingly endless energy toward welcoming everyone into her home. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by daughters, Mickie Harlan, Deaune Totall and Holly DeSouza; sons, Kurt, Mark and Jeff; and 43 grandchildren.
