Marvin Mielke

Mielke, Marvin age 79, of Brandon, MN formerly of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully at home on July 29th. Marvin is survived by beloved partner, Ruth Myers, sister Lucy Doboszenski (Bing) of Clear Lake, brother Don of Plato, sons Jerry (Becky Streeter) and Jim, daughters Carol Ann Donner and Diane Bates, granddaughters Robbin Roper (Russell) and Annie, grandsons John Carr (Beth) and Mike Donner, Ruth's daughters, Lorry Parrish, Chris Weiss and Liz Taylor, her daughter Amanda, several great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 48 years, Bonnie, and brother Ervin (Sandy). Marvin was a mechanic at Tri-State Drilling for many years, an avid fisherman, hunter, handyman and NASCAR fan, was well loved and is much missed. Memorials preferred to Douglas County Hospice.
