Thews, Orpha Age 86, of Clara City, MN, passed away on June 10, 2009. Orpha was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and also a friend to everyone. She was also a gifted teacher and enjoyed her relationship with every student in every class. She is survived by son, Michael Thews (Brenda) of Coon Rapids, MN; grandsons, David of Washington, DC and Andrew of Minneapolis, MN; sisters, Eleanore Conant of Glenwood, MN and Marilyn (Luther) Abrahamson of Sun City, AZ; brothers, Mylo (Lucy) Bjorkman of Sartell, MN, James Bjorkman of The Hague, The Netherlands and sister- in-law, Marlene (Darold) Beekmann. Also survived by her loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by husband, Verl; son, Charles; brother-in-law, Bob Conant, and sisters-in-law, Iva Miller and Charlotte Thews. A celebration of her life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City, MN on Tuesday, June 16 at 1 PM. Visitation on Monday, June 15 from 5-7 PM at Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Clara City and will continue one hour prior to service at church on Tuesday. wingbain.com
