Erdmann, Victor C. On January 19, 2016, at the age of 94, Victor 'Vic' C. Erdmann of Mpls joined his wife, Mary Frances with our Lord in heaven. Funeral service at Annunciation Catholic Church on Friday, February 5th at 11:00am with a private Inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Vic, one of 5 children, was born to George and Emma Erdmann on April 26, 1921 in Springfield, IL. He was stationed in Hawaii as a Radioman for the Navy in World War II. His work for Pillsbury, as a Computer Analyst, brought Vic and his family from Springfield to Mpls in 1954. While raising four children, they became involved in the wonderful community of Annunciation and also enjoyed tennis, bowling & cross country skiing. After retirement, Vic and Mary brought communion and held Mass services at the neighborhood nursing home, and also enjoyed delivering meals on wheels. Up until his death, Vic was able to remain independent in his own home; retaining his ability to drive and care for his yard, including his neighborhood responsibility of posting the recycling reminder notice. The fond memories of his subtle humor will remain with us for many years. Victor was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and siblings George and Rita. He is survived by his sister Ruth (James) Amburgey, brother Jim (Becky); children, Mark (Stacia), Dan (Sheree), Connie (Tim) White and Donna (Dave) Martens; grandchildren Kristin, Erik, Jarrod (Rochelle), Jenna (Chris) Tate, Caitlin and Bryan; great-grand-children Lexi and Isaac and many family and friends. Visitation at the church one hour prior to the service on Feb. 5th. Memorial contributions may be made to Annunciation Catholic School, Meals on Wheels, or to the charity of donor's choice.
