Gillet, Morrison Monroe age 91, resident of Presbyterian Homes, passed quietly away on December 20, 2015. Morrie was born in Milwaukee, WI, and grew up in Evanston, IL. He served his country during WWII, then married Harriet Holm in 1951. Morrie earned two Master's degrees in mechanical engineering and business administration and worked for 45 years as an engineer and manager at Honeywell. Morrie loved singing in the church choir and speaking German. After caring untiringly for Harriet for 8 years, it was with great joy that he began a new life with Dorothy at age 86.Morrie is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Greene, daughters Elizabeth Gregorius (Hans-Rolf) and Marjorie, his sisters Marian Kuhn and Marjorie Myers, Dorothy's family, and many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his first wife Harriet Gillet and brother Charles Gillet. Memorial service Saturday, January 2, 2016, 11:00AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1200 Marquette Ave., Mpls.
