Culligan, Nancy Lee (Seibel) age 85, of St. Paul, MN, died peacefully on December 11, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born on December 1, 1930 in Duluth, MN. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert. Survived by six children: Susan Aura, Mimi, Anne, Robert, Maggie (Paul) King, and Michael (Meghan); 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Mary Cronin Seibel and Sunny Seibel, and brother Dr. John Michael (Lois) Seibel. Beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, Nancy was a gifted conversationalist, known for her lively wit and intelligent humor. She excelled at bridge, and loved books and theater. After graduating with honors from St Catherine's University, she headed to New York City and worked at Barnes & Noble. Upon her return, she joined WTCN 11, where she met Bob Culligan - and began her great adventures with Bob - spanning 56 years of marriage. Nancy enthusiastically navigated the family moves to Italy and Belgium, always open to new friends and experiences. Nancy's indomitable spirit remains with us all. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 18 at 10 am at Church of the Assumption, St. Paul. Visitation Thursday, December 17 from 4-8 pm at O'Halloran Murphy Funeral Home 575 S Snelling Ave, St Paul, and one honor prior to service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St John's University.
