Bowman, Raymond G. Age 92, of Edina, passed away November 29, 2015. Preceded in death by brother, Charles. Survived by wife, Elizabeth; sons, Patrik (Melissa), Bill (Becky) and Jake (Susan); 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Ray served as a Marine Officer in WWII and Korea. He graduated from Bowling Green University (Ohio). For 37 years, his outgoing personality served him well as a clinical associate with Lederle Laboratories. Ray was an enthusiastic supporter of "Friend of Youth" with the Bloomington Optimist Club for 57 years. In retirement he volunteered at the Mpls./St. Paul airport for 22 years with Travelers Assistance. Ray's quick wit and espirit de corps will be remembered. Memorial Mass 11 AM Fri., December 4 at St. Richard's Catholic Church, 7540 Penn Ave. S., Richfield. Visitation 10 AM. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Bloomington Optimist Club Youth Foundation or Grace Augustana Hospice.
