Haneca, John J. 87, of Lake City, MN, died June 7. Survived by his wife Catherine of Lake City, MN; daughters, Mary Jean Gaustad, Catherine B. Haneca, Theresa Marie Cermak, and Julie Ann (Jeff) Diepenbrock; sons, Charles and Michael (Gigi Miller); 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Bertha Blomme; brother, Joe (Margaret) Haneca. Preceded in death by parents, one brother, one sister, one infant daughter and one son, Patrick. Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 11, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake City. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM on Tuesday, June 10, Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel, Lake City and 1 hr prior to the service at the church on Wed. Rosary Service 4:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are by Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel, Lake City, MN.
