Berger, Gerald J. "Jerry" Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud for Gerald J. "Jerry" Berger, age 66, of Princeton, who passed away suddenly on May 12, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. on Friday, May 16 and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. The VFW Post 4847 ritual will be at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Jerry was born June 30, 1941 in St. Cloud, MN to Anton and Adella (Schloesser) Berger. He graduated from St. Cloud Cathedral High School in 1959 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959-1963. He married Sandee Westin on September 25, 1965 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in St. Cloud. He worked as a salesman and later owned his own business selling equipment to the aggregate and ethanol industries. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and photography. He was a member of the VFW Post 4847. Jerry is survived by his wife Sandee of Princeton, son Darrin of Princeton and daughter Bridget (Jeff) Peyer of Princeton, four grandchildren Derek and Sophia Berger and Nathan and Paige Peyer, brothers and sisters Dick Berger of Motley, Phil Berger of St. Cloud, Connie Gravelle of CO, Tom Berger of CO and LuAnn Weber of St. Cloud. Preceding him in death were his parents and brother Tony Berger.
