Stovern, Timothy A. "Timis" a light in the lives of all that he touched. The perfect father, lover, husband & friend. A leader & innovator as evidenced by all of his "hitch & giddy-ups." A lifelong resident of Excelsior. A graduate of Minnetonka Senior High in 1974 and St. John's University in 1978. Tim was enormously proud of his military service as a captain in the reserves. His notorious gift of gab lead to many self-invented career paths that always succeeded including GTE, Codex, custom home building & a staffing company. He displayed a sense of loyalty, kindness & a love of the outdoors & hunting. He was always ready with a laugh, joke or smile, he made everyone feel welcome & cared for. On Nov. 24th we lost husband to Susan; father to Lindsay (Brandon Streeter) Michael, Andrew & a soon-to-be grandchild; son of Carol Sundstrom & the late Laverne Stovern; brother to Shyrl Daily, Douglas Stovern, Debra Zwart, Vickie Abernathy, Susan Anderson & twin brother Thomas Stovern. He will be deeply missed by all those he touched during his 53 years on this earth. "You don't have a Soul, You are a Soul, You have a body." - C.S. Lewis. This is what cancer took from us too soon.
