Olson, Duane G. Age 89, born May 18, 1926, passed peacefully October 7, 2015, at the MN Masonic Home where he had resided for the past 11 years. Preceded in death by parents, William and Cora Olson, siblings, Margaret & Frank Newcomer, Willard & Carlyn Olson, Richard & Claire Olson and nephew, Craig Newcomer. He is survived by sister-in-law Jean Olson and nephews/nieces, William (Barbara) Newcomer, Geoffrey (Mary) Olson, Georgi Olson, Cindy (James) Gutz, Timothy (Jane) Olson, Mary (Frank) Cannata, Pamela Olson, Keith (Karla) Newcomer, Janis Newcomer, plus many great-nephews and great-nieces. Duane was an Army Veteran of WWII and very active in the Masonic Lodge, Zuhrah Shriners, and American Legion. His Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 19th at 10 a.m. at the Masonic Home Chapel and a private interment at Hillside Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Masonic Home for their loving care.
