Jackson, James W. Age 90 of Lakeville, previously longtime resident of Eagan. 4th Marine Division veteran of WWII. He fought in battles in Iwo Jima, Saipan, Tinian, and Roi Namur as a rifleman. Jim was the recipient of two Purple Hearts. Preceded in death by son, Ronald Jackson. Survived by loving wife of 68 years, Elizabeth; children, Carrie (Dennis) Peterson, JoAnne (Jeffrey) Schlink, Paul (Kristi) Jackson; grandchildren, Kelli and Bryan Peterson, Katie, Kyle and Aaron Schlink, Brendan, Blake and Bailey Jackson. A special thanks to the caring staff at Kingsley Shores and St. Croix Hospice. Memorial Service 3 PM Sunday, October 11th at Klecatsky & Sons Eagan Chapel, 1580 Century Pt., Eagan (651-454-9488).
