Haight, James Peter A prince among us has gone. On August 28, 2015, James Peter Haight of St. Paul, Minnesota, died comfortably at home surrounded by family. Jim was born on March 25, 1956, sporting both a sideways smile and a skeptical gaze. He was the last and best of the children born to Ludwig and Lucille (Iserman) Haight of Burley, Idaho. Jim was a graduate of the Univer-sity of Idaho and a proud Vandal. A man of joy and action, Jim worked hard and played hard in equal measure. Throughout a 29-year career, he committed himself completely to his work and to his many friends and colleagues at Andersen Windows. Jim was a life-long member of the Red Sox Nation. He loved to play basketball, golf and tennis. His hustle on the courts and patience on the links was legendary. Jim's best work was as a father, a husband, a brother and a friend. Family, including precious 4-leggeds Maci, Fenway and Bo, and music were his grand passions. Long on charm and short on intolerance, Jim brought competence, humor, music, and wisdom to every circumstance. He cherished each day and would ask us all to do the same. Jim leaves behind his loving wife Pamela Nordaune, his beloved children Sarah and Ryan, and his siblings: John Haight (Mary Brooks); Christine Haight Johnson (Dale); Kathryn Haight; Marjorie Haight; nieces Sally, Tina, Katie and Alice Johnson; parents-in-law Vern and Donna Nordaune; sister-in-law Andrea Nordaune and favorite nephew Charlie Weill. We welcome all who have been touched by Jim's grace, his humor and his goodness to join us in a celebration of his life: 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at The Bigelow Chapel, 3000 5th St. NW, New Brighton, MN In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
