Alberta 'Birdie' Steele

Steele, Alberta "Birdie" age 82 of Coon Rapids, passed away on October 5, 2015. Birdie was born on July 26, 1933 in Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband William. She is survived by daughters: Kim (Dave) Dahl, Jody Steele, Wendy Watje, and Carol Steele Fladland. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 8 from 5-8 PM at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55448. The Funeral Service will take place Friday, October 9 at 11 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 11115 Hanson Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433. A visitation will also take place one hour prior to the Service at the Church from 10-11 AM. Burial is at Morningside Cemetery following the Funeral Service.
