Dengler, Robert H. Loving husband, father, grandfather, age 82, of Roseville, passed away peacefully at McKnight Care Center at Presbyterian Homes of Arden Hills on September 19, 2007. Former 3M Co. Laboratory Manager, worked for 3M for forty years, joining the company in 1947 as a physicist in the Central Research lab. He was a member of a group of four scientists who developed the THERMO-FAX copy machine and retired from 3M in 1987. He was active in the 3M Camera Club, St. Paul Camera Club, Toastmasters, St. Croix Yacht Club, US Power Squadron, The Port of Sunnyside Marina, and had served on the Board of Deacons at the House of Hope Presbyterian Church. He was born in Red Wing, MN and graduated with a BA in physics from Carleton College in 1947. Survived by his loving wife, Myrtle "Mickey"; daughter, Deborah of Woodbury and son, Rob (Maria) of Stillwater; grandsons, Mark and Nicholas; nieces, Mary Jane Dengler, Nancy Nelson (Larry), Barbara Dengler and Patricia Dengler. Preceded in death by brother, John Dengler. Special thanks to the 3rd floor caregivers at McKnight Care Center. Funeral service 11 AM Friday, September 28, 2007, at House of Hope Presbyterian Church (797 Summit Ave). Visitation 1 hour prior to start of service at church Friday. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
