Gage, Audrie Anne (White) 89, died Sept. 24, 2015 at The Alton Memory Care in St. Paul. Preceded in death by parents Frank and Harriet (Sandusky) White; twin sister, Laurel Fern; and older son, Fred Kelton Gage III. Audrie was born April 10, 1926, in Chicago and moved to the Twin Cities at age 12. She supported herself as a model while attending the University of Minnesota. She married attorney Fred Kelton Gage, Jr., in 1949; they raised five children in Mankato and divorced in 1972. A feminist, lifelong Democrat, arts lover and volunteer, Audrie enjoyed reading, writing, knitting and educational travel. Survived by children Deborah Gage (Ron Rainey); Penelope (Gary) Reinders; Amy Gage (David Studer); and L.J. (Nicole) Gage; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon Willasson. Funeral service Saturday, Oct. 10, 3 p.m., Unity Church-Unitarian, 733 Portland Ave., St. Paul. Reception to follow. Memorials preferred to Loft Literary Center or Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota-North Dakota.
