Kathryn Anne Kane

Kane, Kathryn Anne Age 59, of Cottage Grove, died 8/1/07 after a valiant battle with leukemia. She was raised in Hastings, the oldest child of Elizabeth and Joseph F. Kane. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Kevin. She was surrounded by her loving and caring family: mother, Elizabeth; siblings, Maureen (John), Dede (Bruce), Patrick (Ruth) Michael and Joseph, Jr.; also nieces and nephews, Teresa, John, Christopher, & Emily. She retired after 38 years of exemplary service at UPS and was instrumental in the European expansion of the company. Her life was highlighted by active involvement in a variety of charities and community service. She was an avid gardener with a love of nature and wildlife. She will be missed but not forgotten. Visitation is Saturday, August 4th, 10-11 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings, MN. (651) 437-4254.
