Stephen Barry Kaplan

Kaplan, Stephen Barry Age 79, of Hugo, MN passed away on May 24 surrounded by family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Louis and Mildred Kaplan. Survived by his former wife, Marilynn; children, Anthony and Amy Berberich; grandchildren, Isabelle Kaplan and Cameron, Aria and Lennyx Berberich; siblings, Harvey and Arlene Galbert; many nieces, nephews and friends. Steve was a third generation scrap metal dealer, operating businesses in St. Paul and Duluth. He was a lover of vintage cars, dogs and he adored his grandchildren. Private family service will be held on Tuesday, May 28. A memorial gathering will be planned during the summer.
