Schwarze, Pastor Roger William White Bear Lake Age 85. Passed away May 23, 2024. Born in Greenwood, WI in 1938 he was preceded in death by parents Carol and Herbert Schwarze, brother Robert "Bobby" Schwarze and wife Jeanne Schwarze. Survived by Brother Herb (Jan) of North Carolina. Devoted Father of Daughter Nancy Johnson of Blaine and Son Steve Schwarze (Cathy) of Eagan; Beloved Grandfather of 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. His family truly was his world. Loved by so, so many more. Proud graduate of Saint Olaf College class of 1960. Recently marked 60 years of ordained ministry with degree from Luther Seminary. Maintained close relationships with his fellow ministers through Colleague Group he started 25 years ago. His legacy of ministry will continue through the church services he started for his residence at the Waters of White Bear Lake. He truly was a servant of God whose life was dedicated to sharing his faith and beliefs through how he lived. Together with his wife, he touched countless lives in ways we will never know. Alzheimer's took his ability to find words but it never dimmed his spirit and love for everyone around him. Those he touched were never the same afterwards.
