Lange, Harvey L. age 93, of Excelsior, passed away May 21, 2024. Preceded in death by parents, wife JoAnn, sister Lorraine, brother James. Grew up on farm in Echo, MN and married high school sweetheart JoAnn in 1954. Member of Army National Guard and activated for Korean War 1951-1953, serving as tank commander and gunnery instructor at Fort Rucker, AL. Graduated from U of MN 1955. Worked entire career at Honeywell. Active in public service, serving on Robbinsdale, MN city council for 8 years and as mayor of Robbinsdale 19761980. Spent many wonderful summers at their cabin on Green Lake, Spicer, MN. Lived full time on Green Lake starting in 2003. Survived by children Tom Lange (Susan), Alisa Poehler (Mike), grandchildren Ben Lange, Grace Lange, brothers Donald and David, many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life Tuesday 2pm at Huber Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie. Visitation one hour prior to service. Huber Funeral Home 952-949-4970
