Debra Jean (Anderson) Dahl

Jean Dahl age 67 of Mounds View, Minnesota passed away peacefully May 15th, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. Debbie grew up on a farm in Mason, Wisconsin and later moved to the Twin Cities where she worked as an oral surgeon assistant before starting a family. Debbie was happily married for 42 years. She enjoyed shopping with friends and family as well as decorating the house. She also loved vacationing in Florida and family camping trips. While raising a family of her own, she fostered 3 children and ran a daycare for many years. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her kids and friends. She enjoyed cooking for her family and sitting around the table playing games. Her strong faith in Christ, kind heart, and caring nature brought joy and happiness to everyone that knew her. Debbie battled Alzheimer's for the last 15 years of her life while being cared for by her husband in their home. Debbie is preceded in death by parents, Wilhelm and Sandra Anderson; brother, Daryl Anderson. She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce; son, Bryan (Allison) Dahl; daughter, Alissa (Michael) Schute; son, Tyler (Chelsea) Dahl; daughter, Andrea (Eric) Sward; sister, Cheryl (Glenn) Richardson; brother, Wesley (Diana) Anderson, sister-in-law, Angie Anderson; grandchildren, Linnea, Levi, Hudson, Madisyn, Ashlyn, Mason, Nora, Henry, and Brooks as well as many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 31st at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior at Eagle Brook Church Spring Lake Park Campus, 8498 Sunset Rd NE, Spring Lake Park. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association and New Life Family Services.
