Sharlene Ann (Lindeman) Rau

Sharlene Rau, of Elk River, MN, passed away surrounded by her family on May 12, 2024 at the age of 73. Preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Maymie Lindeman; and siblings Larry, Caroline, and Ken. Sharlene is survived by her loving husband of nearly 49 years, Mark, who will forever be "Shar's Man"; daughter Rachel, and son-in-law Jason Lofsness. Survived by sister Marlene (Pete) Peterson; in-laws Nancy (Daryl) Weber, Sue (Bill) Schaefer, and Debbie (Leo) Castellon; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. Shar retired at 55 after a long career at Medtronic. She traveled extensively with Mark throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Bahamas. Shar spent four years collectively in the Southern Baja, primarily in Cabo San Lucas. She particularly liked going to national parks and visiting friends in various states. She was a voracious reader, wonderful cook, and enjoyed games, crafts, puzzles, and gardening. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. A private celebration of life will be held to honor Sharlene's memory. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the charity of your choice. Neptune Society - 763-345-8115
