Hessburg, Mary Catherine age 95 of Mpls. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Sr. and Genevieve (Brombach); stepmother Esther (Wilson). Survived by siblings, Donald (Donna), Helen James, and Daniel Hessburg; also over 40 nieces, nephews, including great and great great nieces and nephews. Mary worked in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota for over 51 years receiving an Honorable Doctorate. She loved the contact with the faculty and students. She was an avid golfer and bowler. After an injury to her leg and surgeries on her feet, she was no longer able to participate in these sports. She took up playing bridge and belonged to several groups. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday May 22, 2024 at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at St. Helena Catholic Church, 3204 E. 43rd St. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the church. Bradshaw Funeral and Cremation
