Carole Ann (Kreuger) Hoopman passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 29 at the age of 78. Carole was born January 31, 1946, in Austin, MN and after spending many years in River Falls, WI she had resided at Walker Methodist Garden in Anoka, MN for the last year and a half. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Virginia Kreuger of Austin, MN. Carole is survived by her husband Timothy and three children: LeeAnn (Hoopman) and Mike Ross of Anoka, MN, Melissa (Hoopman) and Todd Ellis of Peosta, IA, and Jason Hoopman and Carol (Graf) Hoopman of Anoka MN. Carole is also survived by six grandchildren, Laurin Ross, Timothy Ross, Hannah (Ellis) Walek, Evan Ellis, Macee Ellis, and Isabelle Hoopman. She is survived by six siblings: Judy Nelson, Janice Ball, Sandra Lund, Brenda Miller, Rhonda Helfritz and Alan Kreuger. Carole was a multitalented woman who enjoyed cooking, quilting, playing English handbells, card playing, bowling and dancing. Her favorite passion was Norwegian Rosemaling, which she did beautifully. Outdoors she enjoyed ice skating, tennis, fishing, shooting, softball, and gardening. A visitation at 11 a.m. and funeral service at 12 p.m. will be held on May 10th at United Methodist Church of Anoka, 850 South St, Anoka, MN 55303. Remembrance and Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Food provided. Anoka American Legion Post 102, 400 W Main St., Anoka, MN 55303.
