Taillefer, Erna M. A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2024 at Calvary Lutheran Church Chapel, 7520 Golden Valley Rd., Golden Valley, MN for Erna M. Taillefer, age 99, who passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Country Manor Health Care Center in Sartell. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services and burial will take place later in the day for the immediate family. Streaming of the Service will be available. Erna was born July 28, 1924, in Mountain Lake, MN to Nicholas and Katherina (Dick) Loewen. She married Patrick Taillefer on August 8, 1950, in Chicago, IL. Erna was an independent insurance agent for over 20 years and prior to that worked for American Linen. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Erna loved traveling, had a great sense of humor, and loved to entertain. She was a young soul, creative, and a great cook. Survivors include her son, Jim (Melanie) Taillefer of Bloomington, MN; daughter, Mary Taillefer of Rice, MN; and grandson, Ben Schwanberg. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat in 1975; and siblings, Wilmar, Estella, Anna and Lee.
