Charles 'Chuck' Tichy

Tichy, Charles "Chuck" age 87, of Bloomington, MN, passed away on April 24, 2024. Chuck was a proud Korean Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy Destroyer service. After his time in the Navy, Chuck spent 31 years as a Postal Service Employee. He was also a Life Member at VFW Post 1296, and 50 year Member at Legion Post 550. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Audrey R Tichy, Parents Charles and Mary Tichy, Sister Jean Carns. He is survived by his children Charles Tichy Jr (Roberta), Laura Lawrence, and Michael Tichy (Amy), 18 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, 9900 Lyndale Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55420. Mass will begin at 11:00 am with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow mass at Fort Snelling National cemetery. There will also be a visitation the night prior on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55420, from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
