Garvis, Dr. Allan passed away peacefully at his home on April 23rd, 2024. With eighty-five years spent in this world, Allan leaves a wonderful legacy full of friends, family, and a large tribe of former patients. They are left with memories and smiles created by a man who had an artist's touch in personal relationships, a sense of humor that laughed with people and not at them, and the knowledge that he truly cared for them. His career as a dentist was marked by a large and growing practice that continued on that trajectory until his retirement. To this day, his name evokes warm smiles. Preceded in death by parents, Marvin and Sara; sister, Lonnie; and dearly departed wife, Idy. Survived by a large community of lifelong friends and family, including his son and daughter-in-law, Nate and Trissa Garvis; his beloved granddaughters, Ivy and Violet; and his ex-wife, Audra, who remained a close and loving friend until his death.
