Weiss, Frank J., III age 64, of Lino Lakes, passed away peacefully with his family surrounding him on April 14, 2024. Growing up in Roseville with his parents Frank and Beulah and his sister Deb, Frank attended Alexander Ramsey High School where he played varsity hockey and made several friends who remained close to him throughout his life. After graduation, Frank lived in San Diego and then returned to Minnesota where he worked at C.S. McCrossan for several years. In 1987 he began his successful career at Shafer Contracting where he met his wife, Michelle. He started as a laborer and rose through the ranks at Shafer and eventually became the president of Shafer Contracting. Together Frank and Michelle raised two amazing children, Jill and Frankie. While always busy with family and work, Frank also enjoyed spending time with friends. He loved to golf, travel, go boating and water skiing and was a faithful MN Vikings fan. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 32 years, Michelle; children, Jill & Frankie; sister, Deborah (Vern); niece, Kelsey; nephew, Kyle; in-laws, George & Marilyn; sister-in-law, Julz (Jon); nephews, George & Toby; niece, Mary; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life on FRIDAY, April 26 from 4-7pm at Bunker Hills Event Center, 12800 Bunker Prairie Road, Coon Rapids, MN 55448. Memorial Service at 11am on MONDAY, April 29 at Incarnation Lutheran Church, 4880 Hodgson Rd, Shoreview, MN 55126. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
