Reber, Betty L. October 7, 1932 - April 13, 2024 Betty Reber, a spirited and loving presence, transitioned peacefully on April 13th, at the age of 91, at Friendship Village in Bloomington, MN. Born to Helena and Harold Anderson in the humble beginnings of Taylor, Wisconsin. Betty's childhood was shaped by the strength and resilience of her mother, Helena. After the early passing of her father, Harold, and her sister, Anna, the winds of fate brought Betty and Helena to Isanti, Minnesota, a new chapter of fellowship and service began. She graduated from Cambridge, MN high school. Her mother, Helena, step-father, Herbert Baldowski, also predeceased Betty, as did her beloved husband, Bill, leaving behind a legacy of enduring love. With a knack for nurturing, Betty dedicated countless hours to the Lutheran church, the Red Cross, and the kids school functions, and local social clubs. Infusing every bake sale and social event with her signature grace. Her hands, skillful and tender, wove love into the knit and sewn garments she crafted for herself and relatives. The tennis courts and golf's lush fairways in both Arizona and Minnesota were witness to Betty's athletic prowess, a testament to her lively spirit. However, it was the strategic world of bridge that captured Betty's true passion. A fixture in bridge clubs, her sharp mind and competitive spirit made her a formidable player and cherished companion at the card table. The echo of skates and the chill of the rink brought immense joy to Betty, as she cheered on her grandchildren's hockey games. Her applause and encouragement were a steady presence at the rink. She was always watching and supportive of her family. Betty's legacy was one of devotion. She was a cherished mother to her daughter, Mary Desjardin (Greg), her son, Bill Reber (Darcy), and five grandchildren - Alexandra and Anna Desjardin, Joshua Reber (Katie), Matthew Reber (Karin) and Samantha Cowger (Mitch) - who will continue to spread her legacy of kindness and wisdom. Her love blossoms still in her three great-grandchildren. Betty's life, marked by resilience, love, and fellowship, will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held in Rio Verde at a later date. The family suggests donations be made in Betty's name to the 'Memorial Garden Fund' at Community Church of the Verdes, 25603 No. Danny Ln. Suite 1, Rio Verde, AZ, 85263.
