Donald Logelin

On Monday, August 21, 2023, Donald Logelin, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away at age 72. Don was born in Bagley, Minnesota, to James and Gilma Logelin. He married Karen (Kal) Logelin in 1968. They have one daughter, Kelli Logelin-Partridge (Troy), 3 grandchildren, Jaclyn Lanning (Zack), Alexander Jordet (Heather) and Jasmine Partridge, as well as 6 great-grandchildren, Maddison, Avery, Hunter, and Parker Lanning; Emma Jordet and Mia Walker. Don owned Galaxy Auto and Tire Centers in metropolitan Minnesota until he retired in 2014. He had a passion for helping people, socializing, cooking, music, and golf. He served on several national automotive boards as well as the SAC Club at Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Briarwood Country Club in Sun City West, Arizona and the Evans Scholars Foundation (Greater Phoenix area). He had a strong presence in whatever he was involved with. Don is preceded in death by his father, James, mother, Gilma, sister, Sheryll and great granddaughter, Maddison. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kal, daughter, Kelli, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 2:30 4:00 at Edinburgh USA in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
