Lewis, Diane Elizabeth (Schneider) Of Roseville, MN. Diane was born April 10th, 1940, and passed into the loving arms of her Lord on Valentine's Day 2024. Smart, sweet, silly - and most of all kind, are words that best describe Diane. She was a woman with many different talents and interests: She taught ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray, ran the first Twin Cities Marathon, attended Macalester College, took flying lessons, and was an avid MN sports fan (with exception to her "boyfriend", Patrick Mahomes of the KC Chiefs!). Diane was Director of Volunteers at Minnesota Landmarks for almost 30 years and ran the Landmark Center's Holiday Bazaar. She created the warmest home and took every opportunity to open it to her large family, many close friends, and anyone else who wanted a heaping plate of comfort food and a big hug. She truly was a "hostess with the most-est," and seemed at her happiest to be caring for those around her, all while stylishly dressed with a perfect lipstick application and her signature beauty mark. Widely considered the "cool Grandma," she was up for anything, and even pierced her nose when she turned 70! Her faith in Jesus and her family were most important in her life and she loved being a wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma. Diane is survived by her husband, Bob; her children, Leslie (Tim), Nick (Paula), Dave (Sherri), Stephanie (Jerry), Jenny, and Rob; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren! She is also loved and remembered by her dear friend and sister-in-law, Kathy Schneider; her lifelong friend, Sandy Schwartzbauer; her daughter-in-law, Erin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Margaret Schneider; and her brother, Lee Schneider. We will celebrate Diane's life with a memorial service in the coming weeks. Information will be posted. MUELLER-BIES 651-487-2550 muellerbies.com
