Chamberlin, Patty (Oberstar) 53, of Edina, MN, passed away Christmas morning with her loved ones by her side after a very courageous and private battle with ALS. Patty was devoted to her adoring husband Joe, her beloved French bulldogs, her family and many, many friends. Patty valued friendship and made lifelong friends at every phase and job of her life, attracting the most wonderful people that she loved dearly. Patty graduated from Anoka High School and was a proud alumni of St. Benedict's University. During her professional career, Patty excelled in the staffing and pharmaceutical industries. Patty is survived by her husband, Joe Chamberlin; mother, Elaine Oberstar; brothers, Doug (Dawn - Sarah & Trevor) Oberstar and Greg (Christine - Ryan & Lucas) Oberstar. Also, Richard Chamberlin, Burt Chamberlin and Cynthia and Mike Cromwell. Preceded in death by her father, Bob Oberstar. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association (ALS.org) who provided outstanding support throughout. Patty's funeral will be Friday, Jan 5, at 1 PM, at The Church of Christ the King (5029 Zenith Ave S., Mpls, MN 55410), visitation starting at 11:30 AM with luncheon immediately following the service.
