Hopkins, Bion Eugene age 61, passed away on Thursday, October 26 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Bion was born on May 7, 1962 in Garrison, ND, the son of Wayne and Lavinia (Haffner) Hopkins. Bion was raised on the Hopkins family farm near Ryder with his siblings and graduated from Garrison High School in 1980. Bion worked in the healthcare industry as a sterile processing technician. Bion will always be remembered by his father, Wayne Hopkins; siblings, Letti (Mike) Zenner of Northfield, Owen Hopkins (Alicia) of Chaska; brother-in-law, Rick Wammack. He was preceded in death by his husband, Jerry McCaw; mother, Lavinia; and sister, Lu Wammack. Per Bion's wishes, private services will be held. northfieldfuneral.com
