Bugman, Inez M. 91, died peacefully at home on October 20, 2023, surrounded by family. Raised on a farm in Western New York, Inez Nuwer learned the value of hard work, family cooperation, and how to make ends meet to provide for family. Inez married Clare Bugman in 1952 in Buffalo, New York and enjoyed almost 65 loving years together, raising a family of four children, and later traveling worldwide during their retirement years. After moving to Minnesota, Inez worked 21 years for the Hopkins school district. Beyond dedication to her faith and raising her family, Inez took great pride in her many volunteer activities after retirement. She volunteered weekly at Methodist Hospital for 30 years. She especially enjoyed her weekly visits with heart patients through the hospital's Mended Hearts program, in partnership with Tom or Kent. She knitted 150 blankets for Pax Christi's Prayer Shawl Ministry, which she founded. In her "spare time" Inez enjoyed crafting for and volunteering in The Landing Shop. Inez lived an active life, walking three miles daily and we do mean daily! No Minnesota weather stopped her! She was an avid gardener, nurturing her many houseplants, and enjoying herbs and salads from her deck garden. She also enjoyed hula hooping daily, biking, and playing board and card games that filled the house with the laughter of family and friends. Inez was the BEST MOM EVER! She will be greatly missed by her family, many neighbors and friends. Inez was preceded in death by her husband Clare, son Tom, brothers and sisters. She is survived by children Linda Erhard (Josh Porte), James Bugman (Vanessa), and Lisa Bugman (David Anderson); six grandchildren Matthew (Laura) Erhard, Catherine (Evan) Taylor, Karl Bugman, Liz Bugman, Hilary (Maika) LePuil, Dylan Anderson (Ekin Kalayci); and seven great grandchildren: Nolan, Kiley, Brooklyn, Hazel, Henry, Carter, Rey. Visitation will be Thursday, November 2, 4-7 PM at Washburn-McReavy, 7625 Mitchell Rd, Eden Prairie. Celebration of Life services will be held Friday, November 3, 11:00 AM at Pax Christi Catholic Community, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, with a luncheon to follow. A military graveside service will be held at Fort Snelling next May, where she and Clare will be interred together. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Park Nicollet Foundation, which will be directed to the Methodist Mended Hearts program. Washburn-McReavy.com Eden Prairie 952-975-0400
