Hoffe, Juanita Age 82 and died June 6, 2023. She is survived by her husband, New Hope City Councilman, Andy Hoffe, sons, Daniel Hoffe, Jason Hoffe, siblings, Frank Hanson, (Shelley Colvin), Francine Hanson, Loretta Greenleaf, nephew, Seppo Niemi-Colvin; her beloved granddaughter, Natalie Omori-Hoffe. Nita had a passion for politics. Since 2004, she created, produced, and hosted the popular show, "Northwest City Politics" on CCX community television. On her show, she explored the important issues facing the 9 Cities in the North Metro area and interviewed local politicians so that people could better understand their views and vote intelligently. In 2017, Nita won the CCX Media All Star program of the year award. She lived in New Hope for 53 years and was very active in her church and community. She was a home economics and special education teacher for over 20 years. She also served on the Robbinsdale District 281 School Board. Nita loved camping with her family, traveling abroad, and collecting unique statues and pictures of owls. She was generous and kind to friends old and new. She will be missed. Her funeral is scheduled for 11am on Saturday, June 24th at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church located at 12235 Old Rockford Road, Plymouth, MN. Visitation will be at 10am and refreshments served after the funeral where we can share stories about how Nita touched our lives.
