Nache, Nola J. age 76, of Brooklyn Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family May 25, 2023. Survived by her children, Kathy (Chris) Brady, Susan Nache, Steve (Debbie) Nache, Mike Nache; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Linda (Joe) Sitarz; and multiple cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Angela; parents, Harry and Alice Severson; brother, Mike Severson; sister, Debbie Boutwell, and great-granddaughter Olive Sprague. Nola grew up in Lincoln Nebraska, met & married Phil Nache in Chicago, and moved to Brooklyn Park, Minnesota to start a family. She was an active member at St. Alphonsus Church and served as a secretary for the offices of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis prior to a 27 year career as parish secretary at the Basilica of Saint Mary. Nola was a beautiful, kind soul who greeted everyone with a big smile, and found positives in every situation. Nola enjoyed traveling the world with her sister Linda, crocheting towels, baking zucchini bread, and stopping to say hello to as many doggies as she could. Throughout it all, Nola placed family first and kept each of her children and grandchildren grounded as they branched out into their own lives; offering them a sense of safety and security underneath her canopy of unconditional love. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30am Thursday June 22nd with visitation beginning at 10:30 at The Basilica of St. Mary, Hennepin Avenue at 17th Street, Minneapolis. Private Interment.
