Fischer, Delores Jean "Lolly" our wonderful Mom, age 94, of Bloomington, passed away at home on March 11, 2023. Preceded in death by her husband, Marcell (Joe); sons, Frank Marino and Bruce Fischer; daughters, Linda Ward and Susan Nowack; granddaughters, Amy and Jodi; brothers, Clifford, Donald, and Richard; sisters, Sylvia and Charlotte; dearest friends, Lillian Kopel, Imogene Ames, and Mary Cleary. Survived by children, Trudy (Dave) Affolter, Theresa (Bob) Grad, Barbara (Loran) Olson, Mary Fischer, Bonnie Fischer (Tom), Kay (Ken) Stone; MANY adoring Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews. Lolly LOVED to cook. You never had a visit that didn't include food. And you never left empty-handed, even if it was just a piece of garlic toast slathered with butter. She was kind-hearted, hilariously fierce, a storyteller, a caregiver, a role model, and a best friend. So FULL of the sass, a self-proclaimed, not-to-be-argued-with genius. A singer of lullabies; nurturing, wise, and helpful, with such a calmness about her. The matriarch, she loved unconditionally, was sweet but tough, tenacious, strong, inspiring, giving, and reliable. She was everything good all in one person. Like the song says: she was "simply the best." Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send a memorial donation to: Accent Care Hospice, 767 N Eustis St., Suite 150, St. Paul, MN 55114. A celebration of life service is scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 1-3 pm at: Washburn-McReavy.com Werness Brothers 952-884-8145 2300 W. Old Shakopee Rd. Bloomington, MN
