Myers, Steven Steven James Myers, age 63, of Brainerd, passed away during his sleep in the comfort of his lake home on Friday, March 10th, 2023. Steve was born on September 22nd, 1959, in Minneapolis MN. He graduated from Robbinsdale in 1977, where he participated on the diving team and developed a passion for water. This passion continued throughout his life where Steve spent many days on the lake with his children creating lifelong memories. He enjoyed soaking up the sun on the beach of Isla Mujeres and the shore of his lake cabin in Brainerd. In 2019, Steve moved to Brainerd, making his cabin his full-time lake home. Preceded in death by stepmother, Marlene; stepbrother, John Higgins. Survived by children, Jessie (Derek), Douglas (Kirsten), Bryan (Kayla), Peter (Lindsay) & Sarah (Dave); parents, Patricia Lyon & Jerome Myers; former spouse, Nancy Myers; many grandchildren; siblings, Michael (Kathy) Myers, Cathy (Bob) Myers & James (Liz) Myers; stepsiblings, Jerry (Debbie) Higgins & Jeff (Pam) Higgins. Mass of Christian Burial at ST. VINCENT DE PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH (9100 93rd Ave. N.) will be Friday, March 24th at 10:30 AM with visitation one hour prior from 9:30-10:30 AM.
