Janis Marie Rife

Janis passed into eternal life Friday, March 10th in the presence of her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Lorne, her husband Douglas, brother Jim, brother in law Keith and sister in law Nell. Janis was a woman with great faith and a truly, amazing group of friends. Her passion was teaching. Janis worked in special education for the Edina Public School System. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her sister Jean (Chuck), brother Hank, and brother in law Roger (Susie). Sons Michael (Tara) and Patrick (Kris). Grandchildren, Matthew, Connor, Christopher, and Collin. Jan's life will be celebrated at a mass at Our Lady of Grace at 10:30 am, Friday, March 17th. Visitation will begin at 10 am and a reception will follow the mass.
